Optimum Equine Health & Fitness

With professional rehabilitation services

Howe Brook is a dedicated equine therapy and holiday livery, located in an idyllic West Lancashire setting.

Based in the heart of Wrightington, Howe Brook Equine Therapy Centre is home to the Clarke family, plus an array of horses, ponies, dogs, and ducks.

The team at Howe Brook live and breathe horses, treating each horse who comes for treatment or livery, as our own.

Our Services

At Howe Brook, we cater for horses of all disciplines, from happy hackers, to top competition horses, including those who want to improve their fitness or require rehabilitation.

Our therapists devise treatment plans tailored to the individual horse they’re working with, ensuring they get the absolute most from their sessions in a very safe environment. We take a safe, considered approach to all of our therapies, ensuring each horse is calm and happy, and gets the absolute most from their session.

We currently offer equine hydrotherapy, and usage of our TheraPlate, and solarium.

We offer both day visits and longer stays, within our beautifully purpose-built, well-equipped stables, with access to our acres of green paddocks and arenas.

Our Location

Located a stones throw away from Junction 27 of the M6 motorway, in the peaceful countryside of Wrightington village, Lancashire we are easily accessible from across the North West, including Preston, and Wigan.

Parking is available on site, with ample space for large horse boxes and HGVs.
